Petition Letter
Hello,
This year was one of the hardest years of my life.
First, I went to a completely different city, and knew nobody there. Adjusting to new environment and social surrounding brought a lot of stress both to my body and my mind.
Secondly, the cold weather, when it hit, was very hard on me. Kingston was one of the coldest places I have ever lived in and it led to major difficulties for me.
Thirdly, almost immediately, I got sick with bronchitis, and I had to miss a lot of classes in the first half of the year. Starting in December, I attended Student Wellness Services numerous times for medical help. I was seen by multiple doctors through the Services and was provided different medications, but they did not help.
When I returned for the second semester, things didn¿¿t get better. I got sick again and this time my parents advised that I would go to Toronto and see my family doctor. I was under the care of my family doctor until early March. This recovery trip made me miss most of my classes and some of my assessments.
