Academic Plan
Regarding my Academic Plan;
If I was to not fully recover before coming back to Queen's, I will seek out an Academic Counselor and use the vast amount of resources that Queens has to offer to assist students with mental issues. I will meet with my profs and try to see them during their hours in hopes that they would assist me in work that I have trouble with. Or I will try to set up an academic plan with my counselor that would benefit my quality of work while at the same time keeping in mind my concussion and the effect it may have had on my cognitive ability - this could be using accommodations that are meant for cases like this. With that being said, I will continue taking four courses a semester in order to make sure that I am not over working myself too much and slow down my recovery, while at the same time not slacking off either.
I understand it may have already become tiresome for you to keep hearing my excuses behind my terrible grades, but as the records show they do get better. And I wouldn't be here begging to be allowed back into Queens if I wasn't sure that I am mean to be here. I wouldn't be on full covered OSAP paying my tuition if I was not serious about Queens. I understand that my performance is poor, but I really do believe I am meant to be in this school, I am having a tough time, I only need a hand to help me out here.
