Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Ever since I moved into my mother¿¿s house which was around May 2017, I have been doing so well and better in my courses. She supported me in every way possible, especially when it came to taking care of my son. She babysat him while I studied and worked on assignments. She promised me she was going to help in any way possible to help me achieve my goals and dreams. I understand my GPA is not as required but I can assure you that I will raise my GPA. I have raised my GPA while living with my mother. The support that I have now is the support I never had before and I do not think I will ever have this support from anyone than my mother in the future. If you can understand my situation I would highly appreciate it. The withdrawal requirement mentions three years. I have raised my GPA from 0.80 to 1.3 within the past fall and winter term (2017-2018). I am truly motivated to bring up my GPA in the current semester as well the upcoming semesters. I have my mother as my support and I believe if I withdraw now I will not be able to ever do it. I want to finish what I started with a healthy support system that I have now. I know and believe I can achieve a greater GPA. With your help and support I would be able to achieve my goals. I have had tough times which did not allow me to obtain the required GPA but I truly and respectfully request that you waive my withdrawal. If you can consider giving me another chance I would highly appreciate it. I have a child and I have had to deal with many life events during my past study periods. It was mainly due to the fact that I had been living in toxic environments for years. I was unable to show what I can truly do. If you can give me another chance to prove and show that I am capable of completing my courses while achieving a good GPA I would truly appreciate it. I am determined, motivated and willing to finish what I started and will do it the best way possible. I assure you that I will do well in my education and up coming semesters. I will do the best to get the grades I need to bring up my GPA, especially the current courses I am taking (ENGL100, LLCU249, HIST260). So far, I have been doing really well in the courses I am currently enrolled in. I have been getting mostly A¿¿s and B¿¿s in my assignments and have been working to submit all my work on time. I am sure and I hope my improvements will convince you that I am capable and I am motivated to continue my education at an amazing school like Queens University.
