Petition Letter
Dear Dr. Johanne Bénard,
In the beginning of 2018 my health began to deteriorate severely. My functionality in all aspects of life quickly dissipated. I was no longer capable of doing basic human tasks such as washing, cooking or leaving my residence competently alone. I lived an isolated lifestyle so I was unable to not only receive help but reach for help. I had no energy, focus, patience, motivation or general will. Therefore, the complex challenges presented to me via academia became incomprehensible and my life became one of survival.
This continued into the summer for which I ended up in emergency care at Trillium health partners in Mississauga who¿¿s care I am still under. Only recently through their support have I been able to restart and reengage with my own life. For these reasons I have missed the enrollment deadline and performed in away academically not reflective of my true passion and love for academia.
