Dear Sir,
I understand that there's a balance outstanding on my account of 1,517.91, which is currently in default. This came as a surprise to me as I have not attended Queen's for the past 18 months. Upon leaving in May 2017, my account was fully paid. However, it would appear that I was still enrolled in summer courses.
I left Kingston in May 2017 to return to Toronto and as a result never had cause to check my Queen's account. The next correspondence from Queen's that I had an overdue account was October 12th when I received a letter from your debt collection agency, EOS.
As such, I respectfully ask that you reverse this entry and advise the debt collection agency that it is no longer due.
