Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
My name is Roman and im a 4th year here at queens, Karen Knight at the computing office told me I had to contact you to drop the course as she cant do it after Nov 2. So anyways, I was in talks with the computing office about switching specializations from my SODE(software design) to the regular computing major (BCH) and was requesting information about it on november 1st because i knew the drop date was nov 2. I received an email the following morning from Karen which explained she'll forward the email to someone else for further details. So i waited all day and didnt get a responce til today(November 5th), and by now its too late to drop the course myself on solus. Anyways I found out that cisc340 is not a requirement for the Computing Major(BCH), so I would like to drop the course so it does not negatively affect my performance in the long run. I do have personal reasons on why im not doing as well as I hoped in the course and if needed I will provide them, i figured you wanted extenuating circumstances instead of personal reasons which is why i wont include them.
Thanks for your time, I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Roman Sokolovski
