To Whom It May Concern,
My Name is Jack Garrett (20016717). I wish to drop HIST 225, HIST 241 and HIST 305A/B.
I had a difficult end of term last year and a tough summer. I came back to school with medication and a plan to support my depression. After Thanksgiving weekend I took a turn for the worst. I am unable to complete my courses in my current state of mental health. On Friday Nov 2, I was in terrible shape. The next day my parents picked me up. It is obvious that I am not able to finish my courses and have a doctors note to back it up. The timing was such that I missed the drop date.
I hope that you will grant me my appeal as I don't want this to hinder my future academic standing.
