Petition Letter
Dear Appeal Committee,
Last term I took ARTH292, and towards the end of the term I became severely sick with food poisoning. I was bedridden for a week and had to see a doctor. The doctor did not provide me with any documentation. I also submitted an appeal for another course (pols250) last term to receive an extension. However, the due date for this assignment was quickly approaching and I did not have a chance to appeal this course for an extension as well. I did however, finish the assignment but received a grade that I believe is not an accurate representation of me as a student. I discussed the issue directly with professor romba, and she supports me in getting an appeal as she believes that it would be much more fair than her trying to assume my new grade.
