Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
My name is Andrew Bennett, 10191570.
I took PSYC 100 over the summer of 2017, and failed the exam component, resulting in failing the course.
At the time I was taking the course, I was working a full-time job, with 10 hour days in the outdoors, and would have to come home to complete the required readings and assignments, along with taking the time to study for the exams.
At the same time, I also came to know that my mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer, something completely unexpected.
As a result of these conditions, I do not believe I was mentally stable enough to complete this course at my full capacity, and this was the main reason I failed the course.
I am therefore asking for a No Grade to be assigned to this course, as I do not believe it shows my true academic ability.
