Petition Letter
To Whom it May Concern,
My name is Jocelyn, and I have been experiencing financial difficulties since the beginning of this semester. Just before this semester began I got a notification from OSAP saying my funding had been recalculated. I had found that the amount of my funding had dropped around two thousand dollars. I was panicked by this and knew that the only way I would be able to continue my education would be by getting a job. I have now had to keep up twenty to thirty five hours a week on top of a full-time education and I am finding this extremely difficult. The amount of hours required of me for my studies as well as my job is not possible. Over the course of the semester I have tried to keep my grades up but it is proving to not be possible as there is not enough hours in the week for me to maintain both. I wish to drop these two courses in order to attain a relatively good mark in the remaining two classes I would be taking.
