Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am looking to drop the course ECON255 after the deadline to drop courses due to a missed mid term in the course. On the day of the mid-term, I was taking a train back from Ottawa, however there was a snowstorm. My train was delayed 2 to 3 hours and therefore I arrived at Queens just after the mid-term had already started. After emailing my professor, he did not give me the possibility of re-allocating the weighting of the mid-term onto the final, therefore I will almost certainly fail the course.
For the course HIST211, I caught a bad virus about 3 weeks ago that left me unable to submit the course essay on time, and I missed an online conferencing session. These two circumstances would cause me to lose up to 30 and I need to withdraw from the course.
