Dear Dr. Jenn Stephenson.
My name is Simone Onorato and my student number is 20132577.
I am writing to you to request admission to the online course PSYC100 for the summer term.
I am aware that the deadline for the adding the course has passed, but I became aware only after (the deadline) that I was not able to enroll in the Psychology major. I have been advised by the Academic Advisor Office in Dunning Hall to retake the course. I have visited the academic advisor on the first possible day when major selection opened in order to deal with the situation as effectively as i could.
I am currently 27 years old and I have worked as well as completed college. I am now studying at Queen¿¿s University truly out of passion for Psychology and learning. I always try my best and work really hard. I have accepted the fact that the course did not go as well this year as I thought grade-wise. In fact, I have finished with a B-. However, I wish not to lose time, but to be granted the chance to retake the course during the summer in order to graduate on time. I am making this request mainly due to my age, and due to the fact that I am fully financing myself and that spending one year more would not be as easy.
I am well aware that the course is already at Week Two but I am already really familiar with the material, so it will not be a problem for me to catch up.
