Petition Letter
Dear Office of Appeals,
My name is Nathan Narang I am currently enrolled in the MATH 121 online course. I have been communicating with student services and my instructors regarding my concerns about receiving my mid-term mark which just now came in (today July 10th) and the drop date being the about a month ago. My instructor mentioned there is nothing he could do for me and it would not be grounds for appeal to drop the course without academic penalty. Email chains can be provided upon request. Student services mentioned that I should apply for an appeal if I could like to drop the course. Since I must pass this course I would strongly feel that given the time frame of receiving my mid-term mark was not fair to my assessment as to whether I should drop the course given the time frame. I would like to drop the course. And ask that you please allow this given the above circumstances, I spoke to your department on the drop deadline and informed me of this process.
