Petition Letter
On march 17th, 2019, I suffered a concussion that caused for me to miss all my exams for the winter term. For 2 of the classes, I was able to receive Aegrotat Standing. However for the other 3, i was tasked with writing those exams at this time in the year. However, over the summer, circa end of june 2019, I suffered a 2nd, more severe concussion. Since then, and following numerous hospital trips and doctor appointments, I am still symptomatic. Although I do believe I will be fully recovered in a few weeks from now, it is impossible to accurately timetable an asymptomatic return to full schoolwork abilities. I am currently both seeing a doctor in the student wellness center as well as a doctor at the KOPI Clinic, who specializes in concussions.
