Academic Plan
Hello,
My academic plan that I will follow if my appeal is granted is to: Catch up on missed material from RELS 341 and MTHE 339 using notes from my friends in the courses, and to speak with the professors (who have already agreed to assist me if I face any issues), go to my student wellness appointment on November 6th, 2019 to seek assistance for my struggles with anxiety, and to switch out of Life Science Specialization and into Major in May 2020.
I also plan on taking courses I am truly interested in in Winter 2020 as this will avoid issues like the ones I am facing at the current moment with BCHM 310 and MICR 360. Courses I plan on taking in Winter 2020 are: LLCU 214, CANC 380, LISC 391, BMED 373, and BIOL 350.
To further expand on what I will do to improve my anxiety - which is what resulted in my missing the deadline and having struggles enjoying and having success in BCHM 310 and MICR 360 - is to speak with student wellness on Nov. 6th, 2019 and also to speak with my family doctor with whom I am planning on meeting with in the month of October.
I hope my genuine interest in RELS 341 and MTHE 339 will be considered and my goal of lowering my academic stress to help with my anxiety by dropping these difficult courses will also be considered.
Thank you,
Sayeda Sabira.
