Academic Plan
To ensure future success I will build upon my strong performance in the pre-concussion 2019 semester. I will be an avid participant in class, I will continue to reach out to professors, attend office hours, and Student Writing Services workshops. I have reached out to Accessibility Services for accommodations this term.
I am focused on meeting my POLS degree requirements this fall on campus. I will complete POLS 466, POLS 467 this term; and will add POLS 211. If my appeal is successful regarding POLS 396& 402, then I will have completed all my POLS degree requirements. I intend to take 3.0 elective credits via distance studies next term; this will allow me to apply to graduate in May 2020.
I will continue to adjust my coping strategies as needed (I'm still learning and iterating on my 2017 diagnosis). I will continue maintaining regular meetings with a medical professional or personal counselor here in Kingston. I am a stronger person because of adversity, and I know that I can succeed academically.
