Petition Letter
Dr. Jenn Stephenson,
I am a second year student majoring in drama and am appealing to add DRAM200 (full year course). One of the mandatory courses for this program is DRAM200. I kept getting an error message when I tried to enrol in the course and so I reached out to Lee Atkinson and she said she would get me into the course. To my knowledge I was enrolled as I had access to the course on OnQ. However, on the add/drop deadline I was kicked out of the course on OnQ. Ms. Atkinson reached out to Chris DeWolfe who said that I was never really enrolled on Solus as whichever faculty member tried to enrol me also got an error message. He is not sure how I was added to the OnQ class. They have advised me to make an appeal to be readmitted into the course.
I hope to be let into this course as it is a core course for my program and not taking it this year would push back my studies. I have still been attending class and completing all of the weekly assignments on time. Lee Atkinson and professor Kelsey Jacobson have both given their consent to readmitting me into the course.
