Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean of Studies,
I am writing to appeal the marking of the final exam for CISC 490: Cybersecurity (Fall 2019).
This matter affects my final grade for this course, cumulative GPA, and ultimately my potential admission into the new cybersecurity masters program at Queen¿¿s University.
I believe the marking for the final exam, which was worth 64 of the final grade, was unfair. After meeting with the professor, I felt that the reasons given for mark deductions were unjust and would require additional review to justify.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to my final exam to attach as reference, however this can be requested from the professor. Public course material is available online (on OnQ), and personal course notes are available upon request.
I appreciate your time and consideration in dealing with this matter.
Best Regards,
Keyan Fayaz
