Petition Letter
I was admitted on January 14 to arts and science on a non-degree LOP to Queens and did not have a chance to register by the 17th and was told by administration to sort it out at Dunning Hall. I have already successfully taken the equivalent of ECON 111 Microeconomics at Carleton U. The two classes of ECON 112 that have been done this term at Queen's only covered some microeconomics so I can easily catch up. The Department and Instructor support this late addition of the class.
The reason for leaving Carleton U and starting this term at Queen's U is because I play hockey
for the Kingston Frontenacs, traded as of the beginning of the year.
My support letters for this appeal will be from the Department of Economics and my Academic Advisor for the Frontenacs, which will be sent by email.
This is the only course, if I am permitted to enroll late, that I will be taking this term at Queen's.
