Petition Letter
To whom it may concern at the Queens Arts and Science Faculty,
I am Thomas Santos (20170330). I am a first year student appealing to add courses past the winter term deadline of Jan 17, 2020. I had an overdue flex payment of roughly 75 dollars and due to this my account was blocked. This prevented me from making the course changes I was trying to make. I was enrolled in three full year and two half year classes. I dropped my POLS 110 so that I could re-add it and be in the other section that has later class times which work better with my schedule. I also wanted to add GNDS 125 and Phar 100. My father paid the overdue payment however it is now past the deadline and I am not able to re-add POLS 110 and add new courses. I am very disappointed in myself for missing the due dates and my parents are furious that they are spending all this money just to have me enrolled in only 2 courses. I hope there is a way I could be granted a bit of leniency so that my first year of university doesn¿¿t go to waste. I have been following along with all the courses for the most part so I will not feel out of place joining the classes late.
Thank you,
Thomas Santos
