Thank you for your time and consideration in this review.
I am requesting permission to drop 3 online courses without academic penalty from this term after the deadline of Feb 27th.
I am 2.0 courses away from graduating with a BA that I began in 1996. This term, I eagerly took on 3 courses in PSYC through online studies while working a full time career and supporting my family. Due to an aggressive work and travel schedule, supplemented by some mental health challenges, I did not prioritize my studies and fell behind in workload and exams. As well, I have travel for work scheduled during the upcoming exam schedule.
I missed the deadline to drop online without financial penalty which will place my GPA in jeopardy and influence academic probation.
I am extremely motivated to excel in my 4 remaining half credits to ensure I can graduate. It has been a long journey with Queen's and I am determined to complete what I started.
Your compassion in supporting these classes dropped without academic penalty will allow me to enroll in future courses so that I can pursue my degree without barriers. I understand now that I need to manage my time / studies accordingly to allow for full participation and higher performance.
