Proposed Degree Plan - General Bachelor of Arts, Minor in History
Objective - I will be working to improve my GPA in order to graduate
Strategies for Success
I plan to repeat the following courses offered online in order to increase my GPA to above 1.6: ARTH 120 - 6.0 Units (Summer 2020), HIST 125 - 6.0 Units (Summer 2020), HIST 124 - 6.0 Units (Fall-Winter 2020-2021) and HIST 260 - 6.0 Units (Summer 2021).
In order to complete, I have put my career on hold and plan to focus entirely on my academic pursuits. I am fortunate to have this opportunity for the next months and want to take advantage of the time.
I am certain this is the right time to complete my degree. I have gained several years of work experience and can leverage this experience along with my newfound control of previous weaknesses to thrive in an academic capacity. I can also focus entirely on school.
I have extensive experience in developing effective ways of communicating online. In the roles I've held since University, I connect daily over email and use online tools to communicate. I plan to leverage this experience to connect with my teacher and classmates. I am passionate, hard-working, innovative, optimistic and, most importantly, determined to succeed.
