Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I have been going through mental health issues this past summer. I was affected by these mental health issues since about the beginning of March, and the medical date of onset for the major issue was June 17, 2020. The issues have led to me being unable to complete academic responsibilities for about 2 to 3 months. My ability to complete coursework has been significantly impacted by the issues; difficulties focussing on the work. Therefore, I am submitting this request to drop the courses. All of the work in my courses was affected, and I stopped completing coursework.
I was hospitalized June 17 to June 25, 2020. On July 10th I realized I was unable to complete coursework and I sent my first contact regarding the matter to both instructors. Prior to July 10, I was not in any condition to think about dropping the courses. I have ongoing difficulties, and am under treatment by a psychiatrist.
