Appeal
I am writing to the appeals board to ask to Voluntary Withdrawal from Writ 125. The course ended July 31, 2020. I had handed in my last assignment as best I could. My instructor emailed me and said they cannot count the course as complete as I did not hand in a completed essay. As it is too late to hand in the essay, I was advised by the instructor to apply for the appeals process.
I had reached out to my T.A. through out the term seeking advice if I should V.W. from the course, as I was struggling from the beginning, I never did. I know it was up too me to V.W. but my T.A. encouraged me to keep going forward. The last date to V.W. was July 8th and I thought I was going to be able to complete the course. But the last assignment, was far more difficult then I could grasp, and it was too late to V.W. I regret not with drawing from this course from the beginning, it was far more advanced then what I was ready for.
This course created so much stress and anxiety, I cried and felt ill every time I tried to complete the last assignment. I am asking the board to allow me to V.W. from this course without academic penalty.
