Respected Associate Dean,
I am writing this appeal in order to drop one of my courses, WRIT 125 (Fall 2020). This is because, I have been lagging behind in the course. I had applied for academic consideration late in October 2020 due to my illness at the time. And ever since, I haven't been able to keep up with this particular course. After talking to my course instructor about the same, she herself suggested that it would be the best for me to drop this course, and take it up again in the future, to be able to stay at pace and perform well.
