Petition Letter
Hello there,
I attempted to add a course this past Thursday from the faculty of Law (Law 202 - Aboriginal Law). I was attempting to join Law 502 - also called Aboriginal Law this past week, which says it is available online and upon reaching out to the professor (Hugo Choquette) was informed that this semester it is not available to undergraduate students (Which was not indicated on the course page) and that it is only available in the fall and summer semesters for undergrads. This confusion caused me to miss the deadline to add a class. On top of that, being at home this semester has put an extra strain on me as I have to care for my three younger siblings while my parents were and still are out of town. This includes driving to and from school, making them food and every other need that three little kids have. Ordinarily, if I living on campus I would be able to be more on top of things like this but my situation at home coupled with the confusion from not being able to enroll for Law 202 has caused me to miss the course deadline. This put a wrench in my plans to enroll in another class before the deadline and would love to still join Phil 157 if it is still possible (It says it is on Solus). I attempted to enroll on Solus however was unable to as the last day to enroll was technically on Friday. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to still join this course and would be very appreciative of any leniency that could be granted towards me.
Best,
Ethan
