Petition Letter
Good Afternoon,
I am writing to inform that I wish to complete the academic appeal process. My mother Vicki Rosebery has been in correspondence with the university providing context for my ongoing mental health challenges. I wish to have the courses listed in this appeal dropped from my transcript.
I suffer with treatment resistant depression, generalized anxiety, and severe social anxiety. Supporting documents included in this appeal are a letter detailing my treatment, from my GP Dr. Laura Mackinnon, as well as a prior psychiatric assessment by Dr. Debra Hamer.
During this period I was mentally incapacitated, and unable to leave my home or attend to the necessities of course registration. I believed that I was enrolled in 3 courses, wait-listed in two. I recall that my tuition was paid in full, but as it appears I was enrolled in a full course load, my outstanding tuition would be a result of those.
It has taken me some time to reach a place where I am able to write this letter, I thank whomever is reading for their consideration.
Benjamin Rosebery
