In the future, I will take a more active approach in seeking help and communicating with the teaching staffs in a timely manner. I will continue to enhance my time management skills in order to better plan my studies.
I've always enjoyed my time at Queen's University and would love to continue my study. I still need nine compulsory courses, and I have already get started on arranging my timetable and study the acquired knowledge to ensure a better outcome.
To complete the nine compulsory courses, I have made a plan for the future with a detailed timetable:
Time frame Courses
September 2021 - January 2022 ECON231 Emergence of the Modern Industrial Economy
ECON310 Microeconomic Theory II
ECON452 Applied Econometrics
January 2022-April 2022 ECON411 Topics in Microeconomic Theory
ECON425 International Trade Theory and Policy
ECON232 The Diffusion of Modern Economic Growth
September 2022 - January 2023 ECON331 Economic History of North America to 1865
ECON361 Income Distribution and Problems of Inequality
To ensure successfully complete all of my planned courses, I start preparing for the upcoming semester. For example, I went through all the required reading materials on the syllabus for economic history courses (231,332,232). Meanwhile, I begin to learn basic macro-economic models to be well prepared for Econ 310. I also take extra Stata training online since I know it is an important skill in Econ 452.
