Dear Associate Dean;
Re: Drop Course After Deadline
This letter is my formal request to be dropped from a Chemistry course, CHEM 281.
I am not a current Queens University student, nor was I ever a Queens University student. I have a Bachelor¿¿s Degree from a different institution. I enrolled in CHEM 350 because I am in the process of switching careers. I enrolled myself in CHEM 281 in the beginning of Spring 2021. I started the course in the beginning of May 2021 and it is going to at the end of June 2021.
I am formally requesting that I be removed from this course for I no longer have the capacity to participate in said course. My father is currently battling leukemia and he¿¿s medical state has gotten worse. My father is scheduled to undergo a second brain operation due to his hydrocephalus. I am requesting to drop this course so I would not have time to participate in the course while attending to my fathers¿¿ medical needs.
Kindest Regards,
Marilyn Obaseki
