Academic Plan
My academic plan would be as follows, first, I would like to work closely with the Student Academic Success Services who could help me with time management and organization, increasing motivation and reducing procrastination, coping with distractions, and developing study skills and habits to further assist me in my current and future studies. I think it would be beneficial for me to have recurrent meetings with a personal counsellor from Queens as well as chatting with academic advisors often to ensure I am staying on the right path. I also think it would be a smart idea to lighten my course load so as to not overwhelm myself and ensure my success. I would most likely take several of the courses I did not complete last year however I would not take law/political science courses again. I think these courses were too much for me and I'm not sure that I would re-take them considering they were heavy courses and I don't think I'm interested in law/political science enough anymore to retake them. Last I would make appointments with student wellness services and or mental health services to improve my overall mental health and ensure that I am keeping overall mentally healthy and not overwhelmed or stressed or anxious.
