Future Plan
I am an entirely different student now than what was represented in my previous years at Queen¿¿s. I have moved back home to Brampton to live with my family who is extremely supportive in my decision to finish my degree. I am working full time, and have a boss who is also tremendously supportive of this goal. I plan to complete a Bachelor of Arts in History entirely online so that I can benefit from the support and stability that my current situation provides.
For the first time, I have also been reached out and been in contact with some especially helpful staff with whom I plan on working with throughout the rest of my time at Queen¿¿s. I received incredible support from Lindsay Winger & Gail Motut from Student Support, Hayley Everson from Academic Appeals and Advising as well as Barb Lotan from Sexual Violence and Prevention. With hopes that this appeal is granted, I intend to work closely with Hayley and Barb in order to develop a specific plan to put me on the path to graduation. I plan to continue working full time, and will work with Hayley to ensure that my future course load is manageable. Due to the immense support that I have from my boss, I will have lots of flexibility at work with regards to getting my school responsibilities done. I plan to use all resources available to me to ensure a realistic balance with my work and academic responsibilities.
