Academic Plan
My plan for my future studies is to switch into a program that I know I will enjoy and actually be interested in learning about, which as I mentioned before is Film and Media. I have already talked to an academic advisor and PASS to see how I can transition into film and media and if it¿¿s possible for me to do so and I believe that I now have figured out what I¿¿m going to do. I will remain undeclared for my second year and take the required courses to become a film and media major. I am going to research throughout the summer and talk to an academic advisor about what courses they recommend I take for a film and media major. I feel as though switching into film and media will greatly help me to succeed in my studies as it is something more enjoyable for me and a program that I feel much more comfortable with. I work during the summer so that I don¿¿t have to work during the school year so that I have more time for my studies. Another thing that I will do to make sure that I succeed in my next school year is to take care of my mental health. I will continue to have regular therapy appointments and talk to my doctor if I feel as though I need more help. This summer and this coming school year I am going to focus on improving my mental health by focusing more on myself and doing things I enjoy. I will also take advantage of the school¿¿s counselling facilities as that is something that I have not tried yet.
