Hello I hope I find you well,
The reason for which I have submitted an academic appeal is due to the grading of my submission for Assignment case study 1 for ENIN 340. I have reviewed the course wide feedback as well as the feedback given to me and I severely disagree with the grade which I received on this assignment. I did exactly what was asked on the assignment description even going above and beyond to interview an executive of the company in person. I thought deeply and designed a really well thought out plan to address community involvement in council meetings during the COVID pandemic, and the grade I received, (C+) does not reflect the effort and quality of my submission. A C+ is analogous to having barely done the assignment, or having missed out on many keys details, and this is not the case with my submission. I have tried reaching out to the various TA¿¿s and the head course instructors for some guidance on how this grade was arrived at, however it has been multiple weeks since I have sent those emails and I have had no indication that the emails were even received let alone a response back from anyone. It is for this reason I have escalated this to the level of an official appeal, as I have been completely ignored by my Instructors. Usually I prefer to speak with my professors directly so a shared understanding or compromise can be arrived at, however the instructors in this course did not allow me that curtesy and for this reason I am requesting your consideration. I am currently enrolled in 2 summers courses to graduate in July while I am studying for my MCAT and I am very worried that this grade will greatly affect my fourth year GPA and hence my applications to medical school. The final assignment for this course is due this upcoming Friday the 25th, and as I have received no feedback on my questions, and haven¿¿t been able to contact any of my instructors I am concerned that I will not be able to fix this, (either amend my grade or figure out what I did wrong) before my final submission. Please let me know what any next steps are to get this assignment re graded or evaluated, I appreciate any accommodation you can provide for me and wish you a great rest of your day.
