Petition Letter
Hello,
My name is Sheila Thompson. I also got in touch with my disability advisor to ask about dropping the class. I was let go from my job and I have had to start a new job which requires a lot of training time and learning new things. Additionally, I have never worked full-time before and now I have to. With my depression and anxiety, I am very overwhelmed. There is a lot of information to learn at my new job and the anatomy course has more information to learn than I was anticipating. I thought I could power through but I am exhausted. I can not reduce my hours at work and something has to give. When I signed up for this course, I was not expecting to be let go from my job and have to find something else. Now I am so stressed out and crying every night because science is really not my strongest subject and it was just something different I wanted to try when I thought nothing in my life was going to change. I am anxious about having a stain on my record but at the same time, I just don't care anymore and want the class removed. Thank you.
