Appeal Letter seeking summer registered course drop for PSYCHOLOGY 271, Brain and Behaviour 1.
My name is Joseph Motolani Ajisegiri 20277334 and I am a current registered distance learning undergraduate student at Queens University in the Faculty of Arts and Science Department. As the subject of the letter states, I am seeking to get the Psychology course which I had initially registered for the summer semester dropped. The summer semester has been unpredictable for me, I went from having an intent to complete the course to having such a packed schedule health wise and job wise that I was not realistically able to balance the workload assigned with the course. I have done various medical tests these past few weeks such as a tuberculosis??s test, an Xray and even general blood test to check up on my overall health to try to find the underlying issue, all these tests happen to be done without having a health card or health plan and that unfortunately also hurt me. Coupled with all the factors I mentioned before came the stress of working a job that involved extensive study and also taking another course at a university at the same time. All these led to me lagging in the various schedules of the course and unfortunately leaving me with no choice or option but to drop said course.
I do plan on taking the course again in a future semester like in the fall of this 2021 year, as it is a better alternative option to take but I have to make sure that I am mentally and physically ready health wise to accommodate the workload that comes with it, your consideration will be appreciated in this matter at hand, as it is appreciative of you taking your time to read this letter.
