Dear Academic Associate Dean:
I am writing to appeal TO TAKE 3rd AND 4th YEAR COURSES ON A LETTER OF PERMISSION THROUGH ANOTHER UNIVERSITY.
I am a fourth-year student who is going to complete my studies in the 2021 Fall term. According to my academic advisement report, there are 12 units courses needed to fulfill my degree requirements. Two of them are 400-level CISC courses in the concentration requirement and the other two are elective courses. I will take the concentration requirement 400-level CISC courses at Queen's. For the other two elective courses, I wanted to take some courses that are related to my professional field.
However, there are not much computing courses available for me to take at Queen's in fall term. Some of them are either not provided this year or only provided in winter term. I checked the computing courses from Athabasca University and found few courses that fits my interests and provides imperative skills for my future career. Therefore, I hope I could have the chance to take these courses as my elective courses transferred to Queen's.
I have done the degree audit with computing undergraduate assistant, and I attached the degree audit file within the supporting document.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jenny Sun
