Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean
I was unable to submit an appeal before the deadline, due to the state of my mental health. I have pre-existing mental health related issues, which have been worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. I began medication for these problems, and have been adjusting to, since December 2020. I have also been enrolled in an online group therapy program by my family doctor.
I was also still adjusting to life without my grandfather, who had passed in April, and lived with me up until his death.
These circumstances lead me to neglect my school email, where the message informing me of my withdrawal was sent.
I sincerely hope you understand my circumstances and allow me to come back for the 2021-2022 school year.
