Petition Letter
Dear Department
I am Yuxuan Xie who majors in Statistics. Recently, I saw the certificate in data analytics program and I am really interested in that. However, this is my fourth year in Queen's, and I am supposed to graduate in May, 2022. I know the deadline of enrolment for this term is Sept. 20th, and I am just wondering if there is any possibility that I can still enrol in classes required for that certificate, otherwise I need to extend my graduation date for 2 years, and having only 1 course in the second extended year in order to get the certificate, and this might be conflict with my plan to pursue a Master's degree start in Sept. 2023. Recently, I only have 3 courses, so I am confident that I can catch up the content for CISC 251 in previous days.
