Academic Plan
My academic plan is to complete my degree program at Queens University, with a major in Gender Studies. I have accommodations that have allowed me to not take full course loads each year. To that end, my intentions, should an appeal be granted, is to take the winter 2022 semester abroad for independent study and then to return to Queens and continue my studies here for my fourth year as well as take a fifth year at Queens to ensure that I fulfill all of my plan requirements.
I am fully aware of my degree requirements and so far I am on track with both my major requirements and my elective requirements. I believe that the courses I would be taking in Barcelona would cover my credit requirements and once I return to Queens for my fourth and fifth year, I would be focusing on completing my major and my core courses/electives.
I have received full departmental support, permission, and encouragement, which I know was required. Below I have copied and pasted an email expressing the support, permission, and encouragement for you to see.
