Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am seeking to drop out of the course ENGL 100 because I will be withdrawing from Queen's University after this Fall 2021 semester. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed my semester doing the online Bachelors program, I have realized that doing school online full-time is very detrimental to my mental health. I am also hoping to do a Masters and PhD program afterwards, I should undertake an Honours program and try to find mentorship in an in-person academic community.
I will be transferring to Concordia University in Montreal starting in January 2022. Because I will not be attending Queen's University after this semester, it would be very unfortunate for me to receive a failing grade in this class because I am changing educational paths. I am hoping to drop out of the class and receive a DR mention on my transcript rather than a failing grade.
