Petition Letter
Hi ,
I initially met with my academic advisor ,Irina Pavich, several times prior to fall 2021 semester where we carefully selected courses to ensure an even course load for both semesters.
However, in our choosing of courses, we picked exception courses (CMPE 452 and ELEC 474) without realizing it at the moment. It has only now come to light that only the ELEC 474 credits will count towards graduation, forcing an extremely heavy course load next semester, not to mention 12 weeks of hard work in CMPE 452 that is completely disregarded in credit contribution.
I contacted SOLUS and asked if I can get an exception and earn credits regardless, they said no. Instead, recommended I request for late drop appeal, followed by tuition fee amendement.
I do wish you can still give me the credits for 457, but if not, I do want the course dropped conditional that I get money back as information was falsely given to me by Irina, and I should not have to pay hundreds of dollars and spend 12 weeks of my time wasting it.
Thanks in advance for your consideration,
Eric Kofman
