Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
My name is Philip Winterton(10091802) and I am requesting to be granted permission to enroll in two courses past the open enrolment deadline. I am close to fulfilling my requirements to graduate, and added two fourth year ECON courses in the winter term to that end. Unfortunately, I have come to find that these courses are coding(python) based courses that are very mathematically intensive, and honestly since it has been so long since I took my math courses, I am finding them confusing and difficult.
I would like to be granted permission to swap my two courses to ECON452 and ECON440, both of which are showing an open spot on SOLUS. I am aware that I will be at a disadvantage but I am confident I can catch up to where the classes are at.
I would sincerely be very appreciative if you could grant me this appeal, especially in a timely manner as every day counts.
Please let me know, as I believe I will have to contact the instructors to obtain their express permission, but I would like first to obtain permission to even enroll in the courses first.
Thank you for your consideration,
Philip Winterton
