Petition Letter
Good Afternoon,
My name is Ashton Yau and I am requesting an appeal to be added to Econ 255 for the Winter 2022 Term. I took Econ 255 last semester (Fall Semester) and while I feel I have a substantial understanding of the content, I struggled with the testing scenarios. After suffering from a kidney infection and COVID-19 I wrote the deferred exam on January 19th, 2022. While I have not received my final mark back yet, I strongly believe my grade will not be enough to pass and thought I would act in as timely of a matter as I could in order to ensure I do not miss a substantial part of the Winter 2022 semester.
I am seeking an appeal to be added to the Econ 255 course for the Winter 2022 Term in order to complete my pre-requisite for the third-year courses I am already enrolled in. I was unable to add the course before the add/drop date as I was waiting for my final grade and the class was fully booked.
