Petition Letter
I dropped a course that I was in this past Tuesday and went to add FILM 240, which is a course that I was on the waitlist of for awhile. I noticed that FILM240 was open so I dropped PHIL 275 in hopes to add FILM240 to my course schedule.
I did not realize that I could no longer add a course past the add date, I thought there was just a financial penalty for adding a course this late. I was wondering if there is anyway I would be able to get FILM240 in my course schedule this semester so that I have a full 5 courses and do not have to take an additional course in the summer. I already have to take two summer courses and would prefer to have a lighter course load when also working full-time.
I understand this was my mistake, but anything you could do would be greatly appreciated. I took the first two weeks of FILM240 last semester but had to drop it due to a conflicting schedule issue. In this I mean that I would not have to catch up on as much content.
