Petition Letter
I dropped a course that I was in this past Tuesday and went to add FILM 240, which is a course that I was on the waitlist of for awhile. I noticed that FILM240 was open so I dropped PHIL 275 in hopes to add FILM240 to my course schedule. I only added PHIL275 to my schedule as a backup course in case I didn't get into FILM.
I did not realize that I could no longer add a course past the add date, I thought there was just a financial penalty for adding a course this late. I was wondering if there is anyway I would be able to get EMPR260 in my course schedule this semester so that I have a full 5 courses and do not have to take an additional course in the summer. I already have to take two courses in the summer and would prefer not to add another one since I am working full time.
I understand this was my mistake, but anything you could do would be greatly appreciated. I did take the beginning of EMPR260 last semester (and was enrolled in it at the beginning of the semester). I checked and there is still space in the course.
