Petition Letter
When I graduated from high school in 2020, the covid outbreak had already begun. I had gotten a taste of online school between March and June of that year, and I knew it was not for me. So when I decided to defer my admission to Queen's for the 2020/21 terms, I did it because I knew myself and knew about my inability to work at my highest level with online schooling. These past couple of months, which have been brutal on my mental health, have absolutely not helped.
Simply put, I forgot to drop the course, it slipped my mind. It was something I had decided to do before the deadline, I had even spoken with my QSAS Advisor about doing it, but I just did not end up clicking the button. I understand that this is on me, but at this point in time, I cannot see myself confidently performing well in FREN 150, for reasons I would prefer not to expand on, but will if I must.
Thank you for your time,
Ezra
