Petition Letter
Two weeks ago we received our marks for our annotated bibliography in sociology. In my comment section it was stated ?? notice of investigation ?? I had no clue what was going on or who to contact in this case. I recently reached out to my Ta and he stated that he wasn't able to give me a reason as to why there was a notice of investigation. I later found out that I was given a week to reach out to my prof but I missed the deadline line which put me in a bad position and now I am reaching out to you to help me appeal this mark.
I have never ever copied another person's work, I would never put myself in a position to compromise myself as a student as queens. I work very hard on everything I do, I study for hours, get extra help, tutoring sessions and get help from my Ta??s when needed. I truly can??t afford to have an F on my annotated bibliography. My plan is to attend law school here at queens and finish up the remaining of my years here. I don??t want to end my first year at queens like this on such a hard note. Please consider this appealing to my grade. Nobody gave me information on my mark or told me what the next steps were for me until I got the notice that I got an F. I never knew that I could have reached out to the prof and explained. Throughout my whole academic career I would never do this and I am being completely honest. Please if you can do anything to remove that F i would appreciate it.
