Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
After a lot of thought and conversing with my QSAS Advisor, I have made the decision to appeal to drop both MATH 126 and CLST 150 if possible. This is due to the fact that over this last semester I have experienced a rapid decline in my mental health, to the point where I was not comfortable making a return to campus.
As I have explained in my previous appeal, I cannot say that I am surprised that this happened. I had actually deferred my admission from last year because I knew that going completely online, as we did from January to the end of February, might cause a decline in my mental health.
Though I did as much to make it work as I could, both of these classes required in-person participation. I could not complete what I felt was an adequate amount of work for these classes, so I have no choice but to appeal to drop them.
Thank you for your time,
Ezra
