Petition Letter
In the 2019-20 academic year, I registered for one course, HIST 122. Unfortunately, I did not get a good score in this course. Meanwhile, I missed the opportunity provided by the school for students to change their final score into Pass or Fail. This is because my grandfather passed away because of illness in March, 2020.At that time, due to the ravages of COVID-19 and the remoteness of my hometown (I am Chinese), I had to focus most of my energy on the journey home, isolation and mourning for my grandfather in the following two months. As a result, I missed the opportunity offered by the school to change my score to Pass or Fail.
