Academic Plan
I have worked extremely hard to get into Queens, and there is no other school I would rather attend. Therefore, I am ready to make the necessary changes to better my academic performance by applying for bursaries and awards, working fewer hours, continuing to speak to someone about my mental health and taking antidepressants, and getting an academic advisor to help guide me, so I don't make the same mistakes over and over again. I have also moved into a student house that is better financially. I am the first person in my family to seek higher education, and I do not want the sacrifices my parents made to be in vain simply because we aren't as financially secure as others. I am serious about my education and building a better future for myself and my family, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
All I am asking for is a second chance to prove to Queens, my parents, and most importantly, myself that I can excel academically. Thank you again for considering my appeal.
